Our Home

Sweet Hope House is residential child-care provider based in Nottingham that offers accommodation for Looked after Children from the ages of 10-17 years (on admission) of both genders, that have suffered or are at risk of adverse childhood experiences including emotional and behavioural difficulties, neglect, attachment difficulties, adjustment, anxiety or attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder due to their experiences and traumas encountered.

Our service aims to provide staff members with the relevant training to ensure that the emotional and mental well-being of the young people is understood, whilst providing a safe, secure and welcoming home that the young people can feel safe in.

STRIVING TO PROVIDE A HIGH LEVEL OF NURTURING CARE

We work with some of the most challenging and complex young people in the care system. We work to develop stability of placement through understanding, nurturing and effectively attachments and relationships. We provide individualized care to meet young people’s specific requirements and takes into account their plans, assessments, key relationships and their wishes and feelings Our top priorities are giving each resident the dignity and empathy they deserve, cultivating healthy relationships, assuring their safety and security, and providing them with the care they require.

We are committed to working towards a therapeutic and caring environment that supports young people to achieve their maximum potential. The management team acknowledges that by incorporating knowledge gained through workshops, training, evidence-based research, adapting a child-centred practice and making the welfare of the child paramount, will ensure that the child in our care is empowered to be in control of their life.
